ZB8 Infra is building a sustainable, high-capacity, diverse, and secure national fiber optic network that will enable the next generation of digital technologies: AI, autonomous and electric vehicles, 5/6G, IoT, sensors, smart grid and more. Our single-network approach with an innovative connectivity stack ensures more secure, faster, and more reliable end-to-end data transport solutions than legacy networks.

Phase 1 Ashburn – Virginia Beach

The Phase 1 network build is in the final planning phase, with construction commencing in the Q4 2024. ZB8 Infra is laying approximately 335 miles of new, high-count fiber across multiple ducts. The route is primarily along federal interstate highways 95 and 64, providing a new and diverse path from existing networks. Strategically linking Virginia Beach cable landing assets, Richmond NAP, and Ashburn data center alley, the network will RFS in segments between Q3 2025 and Q1 2027.
